My review of SKY EVERTON
Being an invited estate agent, I had the privilege to visit the showflat, ahead of its preview and official launch. Occupying the enbloc site of the former Asia Gardens at 50 Everton Road in D2, SKY EVERTON is a new freehold launch, next to the upcoming Cantonment MRT station (Circle Line), and near the Outram Park interchange station (with 3 MRT lines).
This is an exciting new launch, as the location is within the Greater Southern Waterfront. It is worth noting that large new freehold launches (> 200 units) are now very rare in Singapore, especially along the Greater Southern Waterfront.
Note that the developer bought the Asia Gardens enbloc site at S$1,722 psf ppr, or about S$1,565 psf ppr (if you include the 10% bonus balcony area). Selling prices now start from $2,391 psf.
SKY EVERTON will consist of a 36-storey tower with 262 units, where units facing South will overlook Spottiswoode Park (with views of the sea), while units facing North will overlook the shophouses (with views of the city). Units start from the 6th storey upwards, and is elevated 24m above ground. You will be happy with the condo facilities which are on various levels, complete with several pool areas, including a 50m lap pool and a tennis court.
There are 2 showflat units: 3-bedroom and 2-bedroom. The 3-bedroom unit is 958sf, and if buyers are not told of its size, they always guess that it is about 1100sf at least. This is because the layout is high optimized, with a small balcony, separate living/dining areas, a private lift with lobby, an enclosed kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a small study, 2 bathrooms, and a maid’s room (with maid’s toilet). Top this up with a 3.15m high ceiling! This layout is only on the South-facing side (i.e, facing the sea), and will be highly sought-after.
